Ikshvaku dynasty of Andhra
Dynasty that ruled the lower Krishna valley for about a century in the 3rd–4th centuries, after the fall of the Satavahanas, from its capital Vijayapuri (Nagarjunakonda). Its kings performed Vedic sacrifices, while the women of the royal house were generous patrons of Buddhism.
