Borani
People, probably of the northern Black Sea and Azov coast (Zosimus places them on the Danube), known only from Zosimus and Gregory Thaumaturgus; in the 250s they sailed on Bosporan ships to raid Pityus and Trapezus. Whether they were Sarmatians, Germans or another people is unknown.
