Cyril and Methodius

Brothers from Thessalonica, the “Apostles to the Slavs”: Constantine-Cyril (826/827–869) created the Glagolitic alphabet, and with Methodius (d. 885) he translated the liturgy into Slavonic for Great Moravia.
