Fan Wen
King of Linyi in central Vietnam from 336 (or 337) to 349. By the Chinese accounts a former slave — or, in other texts, a Chinese from Yangzhou — he taught King Fan Yi to build palaces, walls and weapons, rose to be his general and took the throne after him; in 347 he seized the Jin commandery of Rinan.
