Lady Triệu
Vietnamese heroine who, according to later Chinese and Vietnamese sources, led a rising in Jiuzhen (today’s Thanh Hóa) against the Chinese kingdom of Wu in 248; Vietnamese tradition, which calls her Triệu Thị Trinh, says that she took her own life after its defeat.
