Liu Yu
General of humble origins from Jingkou who restored the Eastern Jin after Huan Xuan’s usurpation (404), conquered the Southern Yan (410) and the Later Qin (417), and in 420 took the throne himself as Emperor Wu, founding the Liu Song.
