Palmyrene Empire
State of the Palmyrene rulers Odaenathus, Zenobia and Vaballathus, which from 260 held the Roman East and in 270–272 broke away from Rome, taking Egypt, Arabia and much of Asia Minor, until Aurelian destroyed it.
