Sima Yi
General and regent of Cao Wei who held off Zhuge Liang’s expeditions, took Liaodong from Gongsun Yuan in 238 and seized power in 249 in the Incident at the Gaoping Tombs; his grandson Sima Yan founded the Jin dynasty.
