Person
Che Bong Nga
King of Champa (c. 1360–1390), probably the Binasuor of Cham legend. Taking advantage of the decline of the Mongols and recognised as king by the first Ming emperor in 1369, he waged almost continuous war on Đại Việt, sacking its capital Thăng Long in 1371 and again after defeating and killing Emperor Trần Duệ Tông at Vijaya in 1377. He was killed in a battle on the rivers of the Red River delta in February 1390.
