Emperor Huan of Han
Emperor of the Eastern Han (reigned 146–168); in 159 he overthrew the domineering Liang Ji, brother of the former regent Empress Dowager Liang, with the help of five eunuchs, whose power led to the first purge of the “partisans” in 166–167. In 166 envoys from Da Qin (Rome) reached his court.
