State42–562
Gaya confederacy
League of small polities in the Nakdong River basin of southern Korea (traditionally founded in AD 42; its last state fell in 562), famed for iron that it exported to Baekje and the Wa of Japan; Japanese sources call it Mimana. Its leading states were Geumgwan Gaya, which submitted to Silla in 532, and Daegaya, conquered by Silla in 562.
