Silla
Kingdom in south-eastern Korea (traditionally 57 BC – AD 935) with its capital at Gyeongju, one of the Three Kingdoms of Korea. In the 6th century it adopted Buddhism, seized the Han River valley and annexed Gaya; in the 7th century, allied with the Tang, it conquered Baekje and Goguryeo.
