Goguryeo
Kingdom in southern Manchuria and northern Korea (traditionally 37 BC – AD 668), the northernmost of the Three Kingdoms of Korea. In 313 it took Lelang, the last Chinese commandery on the peninsula; its capital lay on the middle Yalu, at modern Ji’an, until 427, when it moved to Pyongyang. It fell to Silla and Tang China.
