Kilij Arslan II
Seljuk sultan of Rum from 1156 to 1192, ruling from Konya. Having come to Constantinople in a show of submission to Manuel I in late 1160 or 1161, he defeated the emperor at Myriokephalon in 1176. In 1186 he divided the sultanate among his children, and in 1190 his sons fought Frederick Barbarossa's crusaders at Philomelion and Iconium.
