Later Baekje

Kingdom in south-western Korea founded by the former Silla officer Gyeon Hwon, who rose in revolt in 892 and proclaimed the revival of Baekje in 900. One of the Later Three Kingdoms, it sacked the Silla capital in 927 and fell to Goryeo in 936 after Gyeon Hwon had been deposed by his son Singeom.
