Mangalesha
Chalukya king of Badami (c. 591/592 – c. 610/611), a son of Pulakeshin I and a devotee of Vishnu. As a prince he dedicated the Vishnu cave temple at Badami in 578; he succeeded his elder brother Kirtivarman I and lost the throne and his life in a war with his nephew Pulakeshin II.
