Mihira Bhoja

Gurjara-Pratihara king (reigned from 836 or a little earlier until about 885), also known as Bhoja I and by the names Adivaraha, Mihira and Prabhasa, the grandson of Nagabhata II. Starting from the weakened kingdom of his father Ramabhadra, after wars with the Palas and the Rashtrakutas and a defeat by the Kalachuri Kokkalla, he made Kannauj the capital of an empire that reached from Kathiawar and the Punjab to Awadh.
