Nahapana
Western Satrap of the Kshaharata house who ruled Malwa, southern Gujarat, the northern Konkan and the Nashik and Pune districts; his inscriptions are dated to the years 41–46 of an unnamed era (119–124 if it is the Shaka era). He is usually identified with Nambanus, the king of the Barygaza region in the Periplus of the Erythraean Sea. He was overthrown by the Satavahana king Gautamiputra Satakarni.
