Rustamid dynasty
Ibadi imamate of the central Maghreb, ruled from Tahert by the descendants of Abd al-Rahman ibn Rustam (776/778–909). A theocracy of imams of Persian descent supported by Berber tribes, it traded across the Sahara and was destroyed by the Fatimids in 909.
