Süleyman Pasha
Ottoman prince and commander (c. 1306 – 1357), the eldest son of Orhan and his heir presumptive, who led the first Ottoman campaigns in Thrace in the 1350s and in 1354 occupied Gallipoli after an earthquake had emptied the town. He died in 1357 after a fall from his horse and was buried at Bolayır on the Gallipoli peninsula.
