Wang Xizhi
Calligrapher of the Eastern Jin from the Wang clan of Langya, General of the Right Army and administrator of Kuaiji, often regarded as the greatest calligrapher in Chinese history; his most famous work is the Orchid Pavilion Preface (353). None of his original writing survives, only tracing copies and rubbings.
