Ayutthaya Kingdom
Siamese kingdom (1350/1351–1767) centred on the island city of Ayutthaya in the lower Chao Phraya basin. It absorbed Sukhothai, fought Angkor, Lan Na and Burma, and grew into one of the great trading states of Asia until the Burmese destroyed its capital in 1767.
