Chen Baxian (Emperor Wu of Chen)
Liang general who fought the rising of Lý Bôn in Jiaozhou (545–546), marched north from Shixing (modern Shaoguan) in the far south against Hou Jing and with Wang Sengbian retook Jiankang in 552. In 557 he took the throne as Emperor Wu, founding the Chen dynasty.
