Sri Jayanasa
The first known king of Srivijaya, in the last quarter of the 7th century, named with the title punta hiyang (‘divine lord’) in the Talang Tuo inscription of 684. The Kedukan Bukit (682/683) inscription, on the expedition of a Srivijayan ‘divine lord’, and the Kota Kapur (686) inscription, on the army sent against ‘the land of Java’, are usually attributed to his reign; he is also credited with the submission of Malayu.
