Liu Fang
Sui general from Chang’an. In 602 he forced the surrender of Lý Phật Tử, who had risen in Jiaozhou (northern Vietnam), and in 605 he led the expedition that took the capital of Linyi and carried off its golden ancestral tablets; like many of his soldiers, he died of disease on the way back.
