Sambhuvarman
Cham king of the Thu Bồn valley in central Vietnam at the turn of the 6th and 7th centuries, crowned under this name and also known as Prashastadharman. His Sanskrit inscription at Mỹ Sơn records that he restored the sanctuary of Bhadreshvara as Shambhu-Bhadreshvara and is among the earliest texts to name Champa. Georges Maspero and George Coedès identified him with Fanzhi, the king of Linyi whose capital the Sui army sacked in 605.
