Mayurasharma
Founder of the Kadamba dynasty of Banavasi (reigned c. 345–365), a Brahmin of Talagunda who, according to the Talagunda pillar inscription, took up arms against the Pallavas after a quarrel at Kanchi, until they made him their friend, took him into their service and granted him a territory on the western sea.
