Oleg I of Chernigov
Son of Sviatoslav II, called Gorislavich in the Tale of Igor’s Campaign. Long excluded from his father’s lands, he held Tmutarakan from 1083 and in 1094 came back with Cuman allies to take Chernihiv. At Liubech in 1097 the lands of Sviatoslav were confirmed to him and his brothers, and he ruled Novgorod-Seversky until his death in 1115. The Olgovichi princes of Chernihiv descend from him.
