Sviatopolk II of Kyiv

Son of Iziaslav I, prince of Polotsk, Novgorod and Turov before he became grand prince of Kyiv in 1093; at Liubech in 1097 Kyiv was confirmed to him as his father’s patrimony. Soon afterwards he let David Igorevich seize and blind Vasilko of Terebovl, which reopened the war among the princes. The Cuman khan Tugorkhan was his father-in-law. He ruled Kyiv until his death in 1113.
