Rudradaman I

Western Satrap of the Kardamaka house (reigned c. 130–150), grandson of Chastana. He ruled Gujarat, Malwa and neighbouring lands, twice defeated a Satavahana king and left the Junagadh rock inscription, the first long inscription in more or less standard Sanskrit.
