Seong of Baekje
King of Baekje (523–554), called Seongmyeong in Japanese sources. He moved the capital from Ungjin to Sabi in 538, sent Buddhist images and sutras to the Yamato court and allied with Silla against Goguryeo, but after Silla seized the Han River valley he was killed fighting it at Gwansan fortress in 554.
