Abu Abdallah al-Shi'i
Al-Husayn ibn Ahmad of Kufa, Isma'ili missionary (da'i) who from 893 converted the Kutama Berbers of Lesser Kabylia and led them in the conquest of Aghlabid Ifriqiya (902–909). After entering Raqqada in March 909 he marched to Sijilmasa to free the hidden imam and hand power over to him, but he soon became disillusioned with the new caliph al-Mahdi, plotted against him and was killed with his brother in February 911.
