Last king of Sind (c. 695–712) of the Brahmin dynasty founded by his father Chach, ruling from Aror (Alor) on the Indus. He fell in battle against the army of Muhammad ibn al-Qasim beyond the Indus in 712, and his kingdom passed to the Umayyad Caliphate; his story is known mainly from al-Baladhuri and from the Chachnama, a Persian work of the 13th century.
