Mahendravarman (Citrasena)
King of Chenla from about 600, born Citrasena: the younger brother of Bhavavarman I, whom he joined in the wars against Funan and succeeded under the name Mahendravarman. The Book of Sui credits King Citrasena with the annexation of Funan; his expeditions, recorded in inscriptions, reached southern Laos and north-eastern Thailand.
