Sirimeghavanna
King of Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka, son of Mahasena (reigned 301–328 or 304–332 by the traditional chronology, 352–379 by the modified one). He restored the Mahavihara that his father had damaged; the tooth relic of the Buddha reached the island in his ninth year. Chinese sources call him Meghavarna and say that he sent an embassy to Samudragupta.
