Tughlugh Timur
Chagatayid khan of Moghulistan from about 1347 and, after his invasions of Transoxiana in 1360 and 1361, of the whole Chagatai ulus until his death in 1362 or 1363. Raised to the throne as a young man by the Dughlat amir Bulaji, he converted to Islam and made his son Ilyas Khoja governor of Transoxiana; his mausoleum stands near Almaliq in the Ili valley.
