Western Wei
The western half of the divided Northern Wei (535–557), with its capital at Chang’an, ruled in fact by Yuwen Tai. Smaller than the Eastern Wei, it held out against it, took Sichuan and Jiangling from the Liang, and in 557 gave way to the Northern Zhou.
