Chaghri Beg
Grandson of Seljuk and brother of Tughril (by most accounts the elder), with whom he led the Seljuk Turkmen into Khurasan and won the battle of Dandanaqan (1040). He then ruled Khurasan from Merv while Tughril conquered the west; his son Alp Arslan succeeded Tughril as sultan.
