Nanzhao
Kingdom centred on the Dali plain in present-day Yunnan, formed when Piluoge united the Six Zhao with Tang support. It defeated the Tang armies sent against it in 751 and 754 and was allied with Tibet until 794, when it went back over to the Tang; the dynasty ended in 902.
