Sviatoslav II of Kyiv
Son of Yaroslav the Wise and prince of Chernihiv from 1054. After the defeat on the Alta in 1068 he routed a much larger Cuman army near Snovsk; in 1073 he and Vsevolod drove their brother Iziaslav from Kyiv, which Sviatoslav ruled until his death in December 1076.
