Govinda III
Rashtrakuta king (793–814), the son of Dhruva and the most successful conqueror of his dynasty. Rashtrakuta records claim that he routed the Pratihara Nagabhata II and marched to the Himalayas, while the Pala Dharmapala and Chakrayudha of Kannauj submitted to him of their own accord; he also campaigned against the Gangas, the Pallavas of Kanchi and the Eastern Chalukyas of Vengi.
