Guy of Lusignan
Poitevin knight, a younger son of Hugh VIII of Lusignan, who in 1180 married Sibylla, sister of the leper king Baldwin IV, and in 1186 was crowned king of Jerusalem with her. Captured at Hattin in 1187 and released the next year, he began the siege of Acre in 1189; after Sibylla's death his right to the crown was disputed, and in 1192 he received Cyprus, which he ruled until his death in 1194.
