Himyar
Kingdom of South Arabia (modern Yemen) with its capital at Zafar, which by about 300 had united the whole south of the peninsula; its kings adopted a form of Judaism in the late 4th century. After the Aksumite conquest (525 or about 530) it was ruled by Christian kings, among them Abraha, until the Persian conquest in the 570s.
